About The Event
The morning of 18th December 2023 witnessed an atmosphere of excitement and achievement as the SFS School held its much-anticipated Prize Distribution Ceremony for the SFS INTRA SCHOOL ONLINE COMPETITION. The event was organized to recognize and celebrate the winners of the SFS Intra-School Online Competition, which encompassed a variety of categories, showcasing the diverse talents of the students and parents.
The program started around 8.00 am simultaneously in both the academic blocks i.e., the SFS Block and MERMIER Block with a warm welcome by the school's emcee, setting the tone for the day's festivities. The SFS Intra-School Online Competition included several engaging categories, reflecting the school's commitment to nurturing a holistic learning environment. The categories included: Student Speech Competition, I'm a Teacher Competition, Student Solo Dance, Student Solo Singing, Student Blog Writing, Family Singing, Parent Solo Dance and Parents Solo Singing competition.
The Principal, Rev. Fr. George Thomas (at SFS Block) and the Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Rijesh Thomas (at MERMIER Block) simultaneously, graced the occasion and began the proceedings with an inspiring address, commending the participants for their dedication and applauding the spirit of healthy competition.
The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of medals and trophies to the winners by the Principal, Rev. Fr. George Thomas (at SFS Block) and the Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Rijesh Thomas (at MERMIER Block) simultaneously. The joy and pride on the faces of the winners, as well as their peers, reflected the significance of the occasion.
To add a personal touch to the event, the parents who won at various categories of competitions held for parents were invited to perform on stage. This unique feature allowed the parents to showcase their talents, creating a special bond between the school, students, and their families.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event followed by the National Anthem, bringing the ceremony to a patriotic and proud end.
The SFS School Prize Distribution Ceremony was not just a celebration of talent but also a demonstration to the school's commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity. The event left an indelible mark on the memories of all attendees, inspiring them to continue striving for greatness in all their endeavours which ended around 8.30 am with refreshments being served.
