About The Event
The pre-Christmas celebration at SFS Guwahati on December 22, 2023, was a joyous and festive event that brought together students and staff from Classes L.K.G to XII. The morning assembly, held at (MERMIER Block and SFS commenced at 8:00 am and 9.00 am respectively), setting the stage for a memorable occasion.
The assembly started with a prayer song, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. Following the prayer, the festive vibes took over as the sounds of Christmas carols filled the air. The little Desalites, brimming with enthusiasm, showcased various Christmas-themed performances, captivating the audience with their talent and creativity.
A highlight of the celebration was a beautiful choreography depicting the birth of Jesus. The students' performance artfully conveyed the essence of the Christmas story, allowing everyone present to witness and appreciate the significance of the occasion.
After the vibrant performances, Principal Rev. Fr. George Thomas and thereafter Vice-Principal Fr. Rijesh Thomas took the stage to deliver a heartfelt speech. In his address, they extended warm Christmas greetings to the entire SFS family, fostering a sense of unity and joy among the students and staff.
The morning assembly concluded, marked by the playing of the National Anthem. The event not only celebrated the festive spirit of Christmas but also provided a platform for the school community to come together, share joy, and create lasting memories.
