St. Francis de Sales School, Guwahati celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2025 with immense joy, warmth, and enthusiasm. The celebration began at 8:00 AM and continued till 8:40 AM, with programmes held simultaneously in both the SFS Block and the Mermier Block, ensuring that every student across the campus experienced the spirit of the day at the same time.
The morning opened with a special address by the Principal and the Vice Principal in both the blocks, who extended heartfelt wishes to all the students. Their message highlighted the significance of Children’s Day and celebrated the energy, innocence, and vibrance that students bring to the school each day. Their words set a warm and encouraging tone for the entire celebration.
Adding to the charm of the occasion, all the performances were presented by the teachers. With enthusiasm and creativity, the faculty staged a delightful array of dances, songs, and short acts. Their spirited participation filled both venues with smiles, laughter, and excitement, making the programme both entertaining and deeply meaningful. It was a heartfelt gesture that reflected the strong bond between teachers and students at SFS.
Following the stage performances, students returned to their classrooms for further festivities and activities, sharing joyful moments with peers and mentors. To make the occasion even sweeter, snack boxes were distributed to all students, adding a festive touch to the celebrations.
The school dispersed at 10:15 AM, concluding a morning filled with appreciation, laughter, and memorable moments. This year’s Children’s Day was a touching tribute to the students of SFS Guwahati, a celebration that honoured them as the heart of the school community.
