SFS School Guwahati proudly announces the successful conclusion of the Best Teachers Award Competition, an initiative aimed at recognizing and honoring exceptional educators. This prestigious competition was an online competition that saw enthusiastic participation from teachers across India, showcasing their dedication to the art of teaching.
The competition was structured into two stages, Stage 1 and Stage 2, attracting teachers both actively teaching and those who have contributed to the field in the past. Participants registered through the school website, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in education. The competition was open to teachers from private schools, fostering a sense of community within the private education sector.
In Stage 1, participants presented a 10-minute teaching session through a video submission, adhering to specific guidelines that ensured a fair and standardized evaluation process. The videos, showcasing innovative teaching methods, were evaluated by a distinguished jury panel comprising eminent individuals from renowned institutions.
The top 10 participants progressed to Stage 2, where they attended a Zoom meeting, further demonstrating their teaching prowess. Each participant conducted a 10-minute teaching session on a different topic, contributing to the diversity of the competition. The participants' adaptability and creativity were on full display as they navigated the virtual teaching environment with finesse.
The jury panel, consisting of Mr. Dinesh Lahoti, Mr. Anjan Choudhury, and Mr. John Jose, brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the evaluation process. Their discerning judgment played a crucial role in determining the winners of the Best Teachers Award.
Prizes and Recognition:
The competition offered a chance for participants to win substantial prizes, with the top five educators receiving:
1st Prize: Fifty Thousand Rupees
2nd Prize: Twenty-Five Thousand Rupees
3rd Prize: Fifteen Thousand Rupees
Consolation Prize (x2): Five Thousand Rupees each
