We are delighted to share a momentous achievement as part of our continuous commitment to nurturing talent and promoting inclusivity in education. In a historic move, an all-girl band comprising students from SFS School Guwahati and NCC Kohima has been selected to participate in the prestigious NCC Republic Day Parade 2024 at Kartavya Path, New Delhi.
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp is a prestigious event that brings together cadets from across the country to participate in various activities and showcase their talents. Our all-girl band is set to make history as the first such ensemble from the North East to be part of this grand event.
This remarkable accomplishment not only reflects the individual talents of our students but also underscores the strength of our institutions in fostering excellence in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.
About the All-Girl Band:
The all-girl band is a collaborative effort between 20 girl students (NCC Band) from SFS School Guwahati and the 25 from NCC Kohima. It is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and talent of the young students who have diligently prepared to represent their schools and the North East region on a national platform.
Comprising students from diverse backgrounds, the band showcases the cultural richness and unity in diversity that defines our educational institutions. Their musical prowess, discipline, and teamwork have earned them this prestigious opportunity to be part of the NCC Republic Day Camp.
