Parent Teacher Meet

Parent Teacher Meetings

At St. Francis De Sales School (SFS), Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTMs) serve as an essential platform for open communication between parents, teachers, and students. These meetings ensure that all stakeholders work together to support each child’s academic growth, emotional well-being, and personal development.
Parent–Teacher Meetings are conducted six times a year.Four class-wise meetings are held after each examination, giving teachers and parents an opportunity to review students’ progress and discuss future goals. Two general meetings are conducted with the Principal, teachers, and parents at the beginning and end of the academic year, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the school’s direction and student performance. Each PTM is designed as a three-way interaction involving the teacher, parent, and student. This inclusive approach allows for a balanced and transparent discussion about the child’s academic performance, behavior, and overall growth.

Collaborative Decision-Making

Regular meetings are held to discuss matters of academic planning, performance review, student progress, and faculty support. During these sessions, teachers are encouraged to share insights, propose new ideas, and discuss challenges openly.
