SFS School, Guwahati hosted a comprehensive CBSE teachers' training session on the topic Financial Literacy and the Use of Digital Tools, conducted by Resource Person Ms. Prachee Sharma, who is a wealth architect, working in the financial industry for the last 7 years. She has conducted over 100 Investment Awareness Programs with different groups, institutions, corporates etc to spread the message of financial awareness. She is also a regular faculty for the officers at the Assam Secretariat.
The training, held at Mermier Hall on 18th December 2023 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, aimed to sensitize teachers to the importance of financial literacy in the CBSE curriculum and equip them with practical strategies for integrating digital tools into their teaching methods. The Resource Person engaged the participants with an insightful overview of financial literacy's relevance in education, followed by a hands-on exploration of diverse digital platforms and tools. The session's interactive nature allowed teachers to actively participate, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
The overwhelmingly positive feedback highlighted the practical applicability of the information shared and its potential to enhance the quality of education at SFS School. This training marks a significant stride in the school's commitment to continuous professional development for its educators, ensuring they remain adept at meeting the evolving needs of 21st-century learners.
