About The Event
On June 4, 2025, SFS Guwahati hosted a heartwarming musical concert titled “Strings of Light”, presented by the members of the Divine Charitable Trust. The performers, all visually impaired artists, captivated the audience with their remarkable musical talent, spreading a message of courage, positivity, and inner strength.
The morning session, held at the SFS Block at 7:55 AM, began with the initiation of the programme, followed by a prayer and a felicitation and message by the Principal, Rev. Fr. George Thomas. Soon after, the artists from the Divine Charitable Trust took the stage, delivering soulful musical performances that deeply moved everyone present. The session concluded with the Vote of Thanks, National Anthem, photography, and a short fellowship breakfast.
A second session was conducted at the Mermier Block at 11:35 AM. The programme began with a prayer, followed by a welcome address and message by the Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Melvin. The members of the Trust once again filled the hall with their melodious voices, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and gratitude. The event ended with the Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.
The “Strings of Light” concert was not just a musical event but a soul-stirring experience that reminded everyone that true vision lies in one’s heart, not in one’s eyes. It was a day that celebrated inclusivity, resilience, and the boundless power of music to unite and uplift.
